A continental bed consists of several layers: a base with springs, a main mattress, and a mattress topper. This construction provides better body support, comfort, and durability compared to standard beds with a slatted base.

Depending on the selected continental bed, the base may consist of a single assembled frame or two separate beds, which makes transportation easier. During assembly, the beds are joined together using special legs or connectors, so once the remaining comfort layers are added, you will not feel that the base is made of two parts.

It depends on the model. Some beds are sold with a mattress included, while others require the mattress to be selected and purchased separately. We recommend paying attention to the product descriptions.

It is recommended to replace a mattress every 7–10 years, depending on its type, material quality, maintenance, and intensity of use.

Firmness depends on your body weight, sleeping position, and personal comfort. Lighter people are usually recommended softer mattresses, while heavier people benefit from firmer ones. Medium firmness is suitable for side sleepers, while those who sleep on their back or stomach should choose a slightly firmer mattress. We recommend a medium firmness mattress for people up to 95 kg and a firm mattress for those over 95 kg.

  • Use a mattress protector (cover) to protect it from moisture and stains.

  • Regularly air the bedroom and the mattress itself.

  • Rotate or flip the mattress every 1–3 months.

  • Avoid jumping on the mattress to prevent damage to the springs or filling.

  • <p data-start="399" data-end="480"Clean according to the manufacturer’s instructions (the cover can usually be washed).

A mattress topper improves sleeping comfort, adjusts mattress firmness to individual needs, protects the mattress from wear, extends its lifespan, and helps maintain cleanliness more easily.
